“Doris Casey or “Aunt Do,” was originally from St Philip and worked “very hard” as a domestic servant to provide for her two biological children. Apart from raising her own children, she also nurtured three of her employers’ children and was mother to many.
Doris was a strict disciplinarian and her grandson Philmore Casey credited her for raising him to be the man he is today.
She is also the grandmother of 12.
