Mary Viviane Phillips was born in St. Lucia but migrated to Barbados at an early age.
Formerly of 1st Avenue Pinelands near St. Barnabas, St. Michael, Ms. Phillips was a resident of the St. Michael Geriatric Hospital before being transferred to the Roy Wardeen Nursing Home, Friendly Hall, St. Lucy, in 2002, where she died on November 9, 2018.
In earlier days, Mary worked as a domestic. She was never married but had one daughter and one granddaughter.
