Rosalie Ifill was a proud, hardworking woman who was devoted to her immediate family and blood relatives.
Hailing from Connell Town, St. Lucy, Mrs. Ifill was an active member of St. Swithuns Anglican Church from the time of her confirmation, at 15 years old, in 1908. She also sang in the church choir for 60 years.
Predeceased by her husband Jacob Ifill, the couple had five children, one deceased. She also had five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Grandson, Radcliff Bowen recalled that his grandmother was very health conscious and her diet consisted of traditional foods. Apart from arthritis, Mrs. Ifill had no major ailments.
